AMD FX Sets a Guinness World record

The AMD FX CPU achieved a top speed of 8.429 GHz, surpassing the previous record of 8.308 GHz. The record was set on Aug. 31, 2011, in Austin, Texas, by “Team AMD FX,” a group comprised of elite overclocking specialists working alongside top AMD technologists, who will also be named in the Guinness World Records.
“We applaud AMD for their entry into Guinness World Records® for achieving the Highest Frequency of a Computer Processor,” said Freddie Hoff, adjudicator for Guinness World Records.

AMD is already having fastest Graphic card and now AMD FX desktop processor has Guinness World Record for the fastest running CPU at 8.429GHz. What will be next? Yes, that comes into everyone’s mind. AMD has developed technology in efficient way. AMD provides technology in a economical price’s and hope it will continue the same.

AMD FX CPU “Bulldozer” is a clock eating monster; with multiplier unlocked throughout the range appear to scale with cold. The 5 GHz frequencies were achieved using only air or sub -$100 water cooling solutions as said by AMD blog.

Note:  Overclocking and extreme cooling will void your hardware warranties and could cause serious damage to your PC hardware. We destroy motherboards, processors, and graphics cards at an alarming rate doing it. Liquid Helium and Liquid Nitrogen are incredibly dangerous in untrained hands and among some of the coldest substances in the universe. This record was achieved by some of the most experienced and methodical overclockers in the world and you should not attempt to recreate this experiment without major safety precautions and seriously thinking about the potential consequences of your actions.

Specification and Price of AMD FX 8-Core Processor Black Edition are:

1.     AMD FX 8150 Black Edition (3.6/4.2GHz, 125W, 8MB total dedicated L2 cache, 8MB L3 cache, 5200MHz HyperTransport™ bus, socket AM3+)

Price: $245 (Source: www.amd.com)

2.     AMD FX 8120 Black Edition (3.1/4.0GHz, 125W, 8MB total dedicated L2 cache, 8MB L3 cache, 5200MHz HyperTransport™ bus, socket AM3+)

Gamatel Gaming Control an Xperia Play

Wow what a Gaming control it is after seeing the Gamatel Gaming Control everyone will say the same.!!!!

Xperia Play just wasn’t quite tempting enough to throw out your PSP or 3DS, but there’s no doubt that mobile gaming is on its way to the big leagues. The dedicated D-Pad was an excellent idea, but there simply weren’t enough games supported to make it a worthwhile investment. But what if you could slap a game controller onto your phone and play to your hearts’ desire, only to remove the controller when it’s time to make a call or head out of the house? That would be lovely wouldn’t it?
Meet Fluctel’s Gametel Gaming Controller — a bluetooth controller that latches on to any Android phone that runs Android 2.1 or higher. Oh, and did I mention that it’ll support over 50 games straight out of the box, including Cordy, Asphalt 5 HD, Reckless Getaway, Guns’n’Glory, MotoX Mayhem, Happy Vikings and Zenonia.
The controller connects to the phone via Bluetooth, which means that you can also disconnect the controller and play from afar. A handful of powerful Android devices sport kickstand these days so that’s an option, but if your phone supports HDMI out then you’re in for a real treat. No console, no expensive games — just you, your phone, and the gaming controller duking it out on the big screen.
The controller will retail for around £49.95 (US $67), and should show its D-Padded face in December.

Japanese Robot cleans offices

It was great to see the competition in robots too..Now a day’s robots are much advanced and used in most areas. similarly this new robot from Japan helps human to clean their offices.

Fuji Heavy Industries and Sumitomo have developed a cute robot that can help human workers clean offices. It’s a follow up to a simpler model the two companies unveiled ten years ago. This new robot can navigate through spaces full of desks, office equipment and other obstacles (including humans).
The battery-powered robot can move around at 30m per minute and is equipped with a laser range finder: before bumping into an obstacle or human, it says “Please get out of the way, I am cleaning this room!”. If nothing happens for 15 seconds, the robot will move around the obstacle and continue to do its job (at around 0:45 in the video below).
According to Fuji Heavy and Sumitomo, the robot runs 2.5 hours on one charge and cuts cleaning time by around 50%. It’s already commercialized (in Japan, at least).

This video shows the robot (and a human colleague) in action:

The coolest watch MB&F LM1

LM1 aka the Legacy Machine is the coolest watch i have ever seen in you tube video. It was amazing to see such watches if you like it then please comment.

A bit about the piece:

In fidelity to high-quality 19th century pocket watches, LM1 features a sedately oscillating (2.5 Hz), large diameter balance with traditional Breguet overcoil suspended from majestic twin arches; its enigmatic regulating mechanism in full view, but without apparent connection to the movement. Both the hours AND the minutes on each of the two sub dials can be set completely independently of each other – dual time zone complications usually do not allow independent adjustment of the minutes – their domed dials further reinforcing visual references to the golden age of watchmaking (1780-1850). Looking like a miniature sextant, a world-first vertical power reserve indicator keeps track of available power while providing a visual three-dimensional counterpoint to the graceful arches supporting the balance.
The LM1 is striking in real life. The dual dials are hand-enameled and the beautiful balance wheel hanging in the middle of the face creates a sort of clever, steampunkish beating heart that brings the whole piece together. How much is this thing? About $90,000, on a good day, although I’m sure Steve can get us all discounts.

First it was Justin Beiber Now its Bustin Beiber

I was astonished by seeing the little boy Bustin Beiber The 12-Year-Old App Developer Who Taught Himself To Code Goes Viral [Video].

Video was posted about days ago and is in the process of going viral. The video is already sneaking up on one million views. The reason for all this “virality” talk? The newest round of TED Talks features a 12-year-old app developer, named Thomas Suarez, talking about his life and what brought him to coding at a relatively young age. Sure, he’s not the youngest coder out there, or probably the best for his age, but he’s remarkably confident for a young guy (and an impressive public speaker) — and he’s out there building things and educating his friends (and teachers) about technology in the process.

Inspired by Steve Jobs, his parents, and Apple’s release of its SDK, he started to code and learned Python, Java, and C “just to get the basics down”, he says. Suarez makes iPhone apps, notably an app called Bustin Beiber, which is a “whack-a-mole” game in which you pummel the Biebs. If you don’t think that’s awesome, then something may just be wrong with you. He also recently started his own company, called CarrotCorp.
In his talk, the young app developer discusses how students are becoming a valuable source of information about technology, especially for teachers, and should be allowed to assist in developing technology curricula in schools.
Hopefully talks like this inspire younger generations to take up coding and get involved in creating new technologies — not just new apps — but apps and tools that address those real, seemingly insurmountable problems. Bustin Jieber and Suarez prove that app development, coding, and design are, on the whole, becoming increasingly accessible both to young people and those without CS graduate degrees. Even if his apps aren’t gold-caliber, he’s 12-years-old. We talk a lot about the U.S. “no longer making anything”, but if more kids like Thomas take up the reins, the U.S. and the world at large will no doubt be better off.

Save more than $200 per year , popular antivirus

Before starting my article about saving money, I would like to tell you some common things. Whenever we buy a new computer either a laptop or desktop, the first thing which comes in our mind is the security of our system. Some people know it from starting so they have some good antivirus in their computer and some realise it after facing a trouble with a virus. So, many people buy a good antivirus and some are satisfied with free antivirus. Whatever be the situation one prefers buying a good antivirus for their computer but today I will change their minds with the best alternatives with great performance and tweaks. When it comes to antivirus, all the antivirus suite will be saying that they are at the top and they are having advanced feature then other and they have scored great in there security test and other test and performance.

Many people as me which antivirus is the best and suggest a good antivirus. Always my answer to that question is a question. Do you want to spend some money for antivirus? Then my next question is do you have genuine Windows or do you use any other OS? If the answer is “Yes my Windows is genuine” then half of my works is already over. I suggest them to install Microsoft Security essential and some other software’s which I will discuss below.

See if you are a windows user then install Microsoft Security Essential and if you are a Linux user then Clam antivirus these are the best as an antivirus for you.

But an antivirus is not sufficient to protect our computer from virus, malicious code, Trojan, Worm and other online threats. That’s why the additional features are included by different antivirus suites but there is always an alternative to obtain the advanced features for free of cost. What are they?

They are:

1.  A good browser protection, because mainly virus and Trojans comes from different sites which we browse. This is problem is solved by ‘Sandboxie’ software which will allow you to work in isolated environment and no site will affect your computer. Use whatever browser you want it’s ok. This software is free and available at http://www.sandboxie.com/.

2.      Block pop-ops and unwanted advertisements with the help of Add-ons in Firefox and Extensions in Chrome. The popular add-ons are ‘Adblock Plus’, ‘Adblock plus Pop-up Addon’.

3. Some more add-ons for browser protection are also available in  Firefox like ‘BrowserProtect’ and ‘BetterPrivacy’ , ‘Ghostery’ to protect your cookies and identity respectively.

4. Now your browser is protected and your cookies are protected and there are no pop-ups but still there is a problem and that is the web links, which can be malicious or non-malicious.

The solution for this is another add-on in Firefox named ‘WOT’, which will show a colour symbol on the links. It will show you red colour for an un-trusted link and green for trusted.

5. Now your browser is fully protected from malicious threats but still I would like to give you all an advice that be aware of phishing and don’t click on un-known and un-trusted links.

6. Now the last thing you need to do to protect yourself from threats is install a good Firewall, already Windows 7 comes with a Firewall which is good but for Windows XP and Vista you must have a third-party Firewall. A good one is Zone-Alarm Firewall. This is again a free software.

I had almost covered all the additional features which a popular antivirus suite gives you and this will save allot of time and money. Another thing which costly antivirus suite offers is utilities to remove temporary files, defragment your pc, etc. Alternative is there for them also, ‘Ccleaner’ a free and powerful utility to clean your temporary files and maintain registry files. ‘Auslogics Disk Defrag’ software which defragments you disk faster than Windows defragmenter and it is also free software.

5.Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) is an online first-person shooter based game currently in development by Valve Software and Hidden Path Entertainment, who also co-developed Counter-Strike: Source. It is the fourth game in the Counter-Strike franchise, excluding Counter-Strike: Neo and Counter-Strike: Online.
Global Offensive is targeted for release in early 2012. It will be available for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Xbox 360 via the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation 3 via PlayStation Network. It will feature classic content, such as old maps, as well as brand new maps, characters and game modes. Also, it will support matchmaking and leader boards. Cross-platform multiplayer is confirmed between Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and PlayStation 3 players. The PlayStation 3 version will offer three control methods, which include using the DualShock 3 controller, PlayStation Move or USB keyboard/mouse.
Like previous games in the series Global Offensive is an objective based multiplayer first person shooter. Each player joins either the Terrorist or Counter-Terrorist faction and attempts to complete objectives, or eliminate the enemy team, first. For example in demolition maps, often abbreviated "de", the terrorist team is given an explosive to plant at a designated location. The Counter-Terrorist's must defend the location until time runs out, and if the bomb is planted defuse it. Global Offensive is planned to launch with demolition, hostage rescue, and a new game mode called arsenal. Arsenal is based on a popular mod for both Counter Strike and Counter Strike: Source called gun game, and made in collaboration with the creators of the mod.
Global Offensive, like previous installments, operates in short rounds that end when all players on one side are dead or an objective is completed. Once a player dies they must wait until the round ends to respawn in most game modes. Players purchase weapons and equipment with money awarded based on their performance. Completing objectives or killing enemies earns the player money while negative actions like killing a teammate takes money away from the player. In addition when a round ends all players receive some amount of money, with players on the winning team receiving substantially more. Global Offensive adds new weapons and equipment not seen in previous installments. Most notably the molotv cocktail which temporarily covers a small area in fire, making it impossible to pass through without taking significant damage

8. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier (previously known as Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 4) is a video game published by Ubisoft and due for release in 2012. Excluding expansions, it is the fourth installment in the Ghost Recon series, and was announced to be in development by Ubisoft on January 22, 2009. The game will be a futuristic take on the Ghost Recon series. The PlayStation Portable version is known as Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Predator.

The game is a third-person shooter for most of the game, except when aiming using sights, or when firing from cover, when the game switches to a first-person camera in order to facilitate more precise aiming. Cover can be partially destroyed, forcing the players to constantly seek other hiding spots. A new feature in the series is the "optical camouflage", a form of active camouflage which allows the Ghosts to become instantly invisible. According to the game designer Rafael Morado, the optical camo technology, however, is still a prototype and there are as many disadvantages as there are advantages and its use will initially be extremely limited. According to writer Gabrielle Shrager, it is also possible to control drones. During E3 2011 Ubisoft debuted the games weapon customizer. The system works with the Xbox Kinect and allows an unprecedented level of customization, down to the gas management parts of every gun. While customizing weapons, the player is also allowed to test their creations in a simulated environment. Voice control is also used in weapon creation, in addition to hand movements. Using Kinect, drawing a weapon is done by reaching a hand over your back, and pulling it back down, as if grabbing a gun from your back. Shooting is accomplished by opening the hand and closing it again.

9. Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is an upcoming 2011 third-person shooter video game for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, co-developed by Slant Six Games and Capcom, and currently scheduled for a release on March 20, 2012. The Microsoft Windows version will launch at a later date.

There are six playable characters in the game, Vector, Spectre, Beltway, Four Eyes, Lupo and Bertha. Each have their own unique abilities; Vector (real name unknown) is the team's recon expert and is equipped with a cloaking ability, Beltway (real name Hector Hivers) is proficient in the use of explosives, Bertha (real name Michaela Schneider) is the team's medic, Spectre (real name Vladimir Bodrovski) is the team's surveillance class and sharpshooter, Four Eyes (real name Christine Yamata) is the scientist of the group with the ability to program the bio-organic weapons (BOWs), and then there is Lupo (real name Karena Lesproux) who is an Assault class/Team Leader as shown in a recent trailer. Alongside the single-player mode, the game will also offer four-player co-operative gameplay, which pits the USS against the US Special Operations task force.
The zombies in the game will be able to attack the player in a multitude of ways. A zombie that gets too close to the player will usually attempt to grapple the player, prompting the player to rapidly shake his analogue stick to avoid infection. Players who are unsuccessful in doing this will be "invisible" to nearby zombies for a limited amount of time whilst they are infected before their death in game. If a player is successfully bitten and later runs out of time after becoming infected, the player will lose control of their character and begin attacking their former teammates until shot in the head, allowing the player to respawn.
The game also utilizes a bleeding mechanic, meaning characters who have been badly wounded will be deemed "bleeding out", giving their screen a blood red hue and making them a higher priority target to nearby infected than the others.
There will be additional enemy types in the game besides zombies. BOWs that can be confirmed from E3 are Hunters, Lickers and Tyrants. Furthermore, the player will be able to control them under certain circumstances.

However, Patrick Redding, a Ubisoft story designer, mentioned that an Antarctic setting is a possibility for future games. The main goal of the game is to escape from the islands (as there will be more than one, mentioned by Dan Hay) and its crazed inhabitants.

On June 6, 2011, Ubisoft showcased the demo gameplay of Far Cry 3 in its E3 2011 conference. It was revealed that the player has the ability to shoot enemies behind objects in crouch mode without moving his head up but with free hands. The demo also revealed an overhauled stealth mechanic as well as a possible leveling system based on experience points. The player will also have the ability to perform "takedown" abilities by performing melee attacks from above or in crouch mode. The game's narrative director, Jason Vandenberghe, has said that the story mode map will be around ten times larger than its previous installments, indicating that it is still an open world sandbox game in which player chooses when and how they want to complete missions.
